Visitor registration open for Mediatech Africa Expo 2026

Visitor registration for Mediatech Africa 2026 is now open. Free passes are available at www.mediatech.co.za using code MTA026.

Taking place from 30 June to 2 July at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg, South Africa, Mediatech Africa brings together professionals working across Pro AV, broadcast, film, and live event production technology.

The expo covers key sectors including AV integration, unified communications, content creation, broadcast, audio, lighting, and display. Visitors can explore solutions used across workplaces, studios, venues, live events, and public environments.

More than 500 global brands will be represented on the show floor, either by local distributors or directly. These include Robe, Logitech for Business, Shure, L-Acoustics, JBL, Aten, DiGiCo, Martin Lighting, d&b audiotechnik, Blackmagic Design, Sennheiser, Christie, Unilumin, Crestron, Extron, Yamaha, Canon, RØDE, MAXHUB, Taylorleds, and Riedel Communications.

Claire Robinson, Sales and Marketing Director of Mediatech Africa, says exhibitor demand has been strong, with over 85% of exhibition floor space already sold. Many of the region’s leading distributors are confirmed, including Peripheral Vision, Planetworld, DWR Distribution, Stage Audio Works, Movievision, The Prosound Group, Applix Distributors, Alpha Technologies, Orion AV, Cine AV, Viva Afrika Sound & Light, StageOne, Electrosonic, Skyco, and The Production Warehouse.

“Together, they bring the brands that professionals specify and use every day, giving visitors the chance to see and compare real solutions in one place,” she says.

Robinson adds that there has been a noticeable shift in manufacturer involvement. “More manufacturers are supporting their distributors by investing in partner stands or taking their own space at the show. Africa has often been overlooked, with distributors carrying most of the marketing cost. That’s starting to change.”

She notes that this benefits visitors directly. “Many international manufacturers will be at the show in person, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with global brand representatives, something that is not always possible through local channels.”

Simon Robinson, Exhibition Director, says the event plays an important role for the African market.

“Many professionals across Africa don’t always have the opportunity to attend large international trade shows. Mediatech Africa brings that experience closer to home, giving people access to the same technology, brands, and conversations without needing to travel,” he says.

“We expect this year’s show to be the best yet. There’s real momentum in the industry. Both visitors and exhibitors are engaged, the energy around the show is on another level.”
