Greater awareness increases the adoption of cloud

- Advertisment -

Greater awareness of the benefits the cloud brings to businesses is one of the reasons why more companies are moving into the cloud. This, coupled with the entry over the past few years of large international cloud companies into the South African market, has eased the security concerns many companies had before.

Security is still often the reason given by companies that have not yet embraced the cloud. The panellists believe that in most instances, cloud companies are better positioned and have more experience to provide a secure service than companies who still host on premise.

Listen to an open and frank discussion by the six experts who participated in the EngineerIT Cloud panel discussion.

Sharing their views  and advice are Andrew Cruise, Managing Director of Routed, Rudeon Snell, Global Senior Director, Industries and Customer Advisory at SAP, Dean Maier, Cloud Project Lead at Synthesis, Paul Zietsman, Technical Lead at Synthesis, Naseem Ahmad, Cloud Enablement Practice Lead at Synthesis, Muggie van Staden , Managing Director, Obsidian Systems and Andre Kannemeyer, Duxbury Networking.
